SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls police are investigating the city’s 14th homicide of this year – a stabbing that took place early Saturday morning in a parking lot on South Duluth Avenue. That’s a record high number of homicides in one year. No arrests have been made yet, but unlike other cases this year, Investigation Commander Captain Mike Colwill expects charges to be filed fairly quickly in this one.
25 year old Aidan Quickbear has been identified as the victim. Captail Colwill says there were witnesses.
