WAGNER, S.D. (KELO.com) — A 2023 stabbing death in Wagner has resulted in a plea from the accused
Gabe Montgomery, 16, entered a plea of “guilty” Friday morning.
Montgomery stabbed a 16 year old boy to death during a fight in Wagner in April of last year.
Montgomery’s case was transferred to adult court this past spring, and he could be sentenced for up to life in prison.
A sentencing date has yet to be set.
