SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A case of mistaken identity leaves two people dead in a shooting near Roosevelt High School in Sioux Falls Thursday night.
A 23-year old man said he had been jumped in another area of the city.
He was told those responsible were at the gas station, so he went there with a 44-year old man, and a 14 year old boy – all three armed with baseball bats.
They were followed to the scene by a woman-who was in a different vehicle.
The motorcyclist then noticed the woman pointing a gun at him.
He shot her in the arm…
The two men who were shot by the motorcyclist both died.
The woman – 42-year old Darinda Martinez – was treated for her injuries, and was later charged with aggravated assault.
The motorcyclist has not been charged, but the case is under review.
