NEW YORK, NY (KELO.com) — As of Midnight Monday, dock workers are on strike on the east and Gulf coasts. The impact will hit home, even here in the upper Midwest. Congressman Dusty Johnson says more than half of all farm exports are impacted.
Wages and the automation of shipping terminals are the main hangups in the dispute.
