WASHINGTON, DC (KELO.com) — South Dakota’s Congressional Delegation is asking the Biden Administration for help for the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. Severe weather in July included a derecho with winds up to 108 miles per hour and heavy rain. They say the damage exceeds the Tribe’s ability to pay, and meets the threshold to qualify for federal help.
