PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — Governor Noem’s administration is turning down money from the Home Energy Rebates Program, and that’s generating some pushback. Senator Reynold Nesiba says the Governor is putting her political posturing above the needs of state residents. The state’s finance office says a lack of administrative staff and objections to the program’s policies led to the rejection of the 69-million dollars that was being offered.
