SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls police recruiting efforts appear to be working. For the past month, the department has been conducting a social media and billboard campaign to attract recruits. The campaign features officers like Mauricio Marquez highlighting the positive aspects of serving.
Police Chief Jon Thum says it’s too early to draw conclusions, but his department is seeing a higher number of applicants since the campaign began.
