The South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources conducted a water quality test due to the recent floods.
Results showed high risk conditions for algal toxin exposure.
Due to the high levels, the Minnehaha County Division of Emergency Management recommends people
or pets stay out of the water and exercise caution.
