Early morning hike ends with armed robbery

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — An early morning hike on the trails at Great Bear came to an unpleasant end early Sunday morning.  Police Information Officer Sam Clemens explains.

The victims knew the suspect, so 21-year old Diego Lopez of Sioux Falls was arrested when he showed up for work yesterday.  He’s charged with aggravated assault, committing a felony while armed, robbery and grand theft.
