SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — For the second time this year, 911 service suffered outages across South Dakota Tuesday night – and in several other states. Officials suspect storm damage from Hurricane Beryl in Texas was the cause. Assistant Chief Mike Gramlick of Sioux Falls Fire and Rescue says the emergency response to the outage in Sioux Falls covered all the bases.
911 texting service was maintained through the outage.
