JOHNSTON, IA (KELO.com) — Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds is sounding the same alarms…saying the rain may have stopped for now, but the worst flooding may still be ahead.
Parts of northwest Iowa received an estimated 15 inches of rain over a two-day period. Electric power, water and other utilities have been shut down in several communities including Spencer and Rock Valley. The entire town of Rock Valley was evacuated Saturday when a levee failed.
