SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Area Metro — SAM — wants to hear from you. TransitTech provider Via operates the city’s public transit network, and is opening its doors to public input. Via will host a drop-in session at the Downtown Library May 6th that you can attend in person or you can leave online feedback. Emily Shapiro, Via’s general manager for Sioux Falls, says the company is considering changes recommended by riders over the past six months.
Here are the options if you would like to offer input on the SAM transit service.
● In-person: Residents can attend the in-person “drop-in session” on Monday, May 6 at any time between 2:30 and 8:00 p.m. at Rooms A & B of the Downtown Library (200 N. Dakota Ave.) to learn about the proposed changes, ask questions, and provide live feedback Refreshments will be provided.
● Alternatively, residents can visit city.ridewithvia.com/sam-reimagined to learn about the proposed changes and share online feedback until Wednesday, May 8 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time.
