SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — The snow has stopped – at least for now – so now, the work begins. The City of Sioux Falls has over a hundred operators working with graders, loaders and sanders, trying to remove close to 11-inches of snow. Public Works director Mark Cotter says the operation is well underway.
Don’t park on the streets until they’re plowed curb to curb, or you risk being ticketed and towed. Police information officer Sam Clemens says it’s a matter of safety.
A word of caution, Cotter says with this much snow the snow gates won’t be as effective at keeping snow out of your driveway.
