RIYADH (Reuters) – Saudi Arabia’s Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz Bin Salman on Monday launched a greenhouse gases and crediting scheme that will begin next year.
The scheme aims to drive progress towards a path to net zero emissions by allowing companies to offset their greenhouse gas emissions by purchasing credits from projects that voluntarily reduce or remove emissions, the initiative’s website noted.
