Mitchell Baseball Association terminates remainder of Mitchell Post 18 Legion’s season

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Allegations of misconduct against the Mitchell Legion baseball team has ended their season.

The Mitchell Baseball Association Board has terminated the remainder of the Mitchell Post 18’s baseball season after the allegations surfaced.

The team was suspended last month, and the Board recently decided to let the team resume play.

But the board reversed their decision less than one day later after receiving new information on the investigation.

As the investigation continues, Attorney General Marty Jackley says that no charges have been filed yet.
