LAKE BENTON, MN. (KELO.com) — It was a 72 year wait, now a veteran rests in peace.
Storekeeper 2nd Class Glenn Cyriack of Lake Benton died Dec. 7, 1941, while on the USS Oklahoma in the attack on Pearl Harbor.
With his remains now identified, he was buried in southern Minnesota on Friday, June 9.
The Japanese attack on Pearl harbor signaled the beginning or US involvement in World War Two.
Many veterans were in attendance, and a parade led to the spot of the internment.
The United States Navy buried him with full honors.
