SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A weekend of broken records took place at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays in Sioux Falls. The 98th running featured more than 3,000 middle and high school student athletes. 32 records fell in the two day event, including one from 1978. The Class B Girls 1600 Sprint Medley Relay. That accomplishment now belongs to the team from Colman-Egan. The 32 broken records is a record for the most broken records in one year at the relays.
