Sioux Falls is still waiting to reach 50 for the first time this year. The latest Sioux Falls first reached 50 degrees in a year dates back to April 6, 1969. The National Weather Service says for the remainder of March we will generally see temperatures below normal. The spring equinox occurs at 4:24 Monday afternoon.
