SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Around a dozen passenger vehicles and 12 semi’s were involved in a pile-up Friday afternoon near White Lake on Interstate 90, according to the South Dakota Highway Patrol. It’s also estimated another 40 passenger vehicles and 30 semi’s were stopped in the scene that did not receive damage. Some vehicles took to the median to avoid collisions. Only minor injuries were reported. Both I-90 and I-29 were shut down by 6:00 Friday evening as strong winds and drifting snow created poor driving conditions.
