SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) –The Faith Temple food giveaway will be happening Friday, February 17th from 4-6pm or whenever the food runs out (whichever occurs first), at the Nordstrom-Johnson building on the campus of the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds. Please enter from the north entrance via Madison Street.
Due to serving over 1,000 individuals each Friday, it is recommended, if possible, trying to get to the fairgrounds earlier in the two-hour time period.
They have run out of food in the past weeks- some days by 5:30pm.
Please make sure that there is enough room in your vehicle for a large banana box per adult.
Every adult over the age of 18 present at the giveaway will receive a box of food.
Recognizing the cost of gas and the value of carpooling, there is no limit to adults served per vehicle.
Faith Temple food giveaway does not require any form of identification to receive food; also guests are welcome to come to the giveaway every week, if needed and share the food with those around you.
