Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office and Sioux Falls Police Department, say that roadways across the area are becoming slick due to blowing snow.
As the wind is picking up and blowing snow across the roadways, some roads are becoming slick, particularly the interstate and highways outside of town. Please use caution. /802

There have also been reports of several rollover accidents along Interstate 29 south of Sioux Falls.
The National Weather Service says that similar hazards are ongoing in southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa.
Similar conditions are common across other parts of southeast South Dakota, southwest Minnesota, and northwest Iowa.
