SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — As the SDSU Jackrabbits host Montana State in the semifinal matchup this Saturday, head coach John Stiegelmeier is encouraging fans to bundle up and make their way to Dana J. Dykhouse stadium for the game.
The Jacks have so far won their previous two playoff games at home while fans have dressed in the warmest winter gear they own, but still struggling to fill up seats in the stadium.
While the skies are expected to be clear, the temperature at kickoff will likely be in the single digits.
In order to help fill the stands on a bitterly cold afternoon, SDSU President Barry Dunn is offering free admission to all students who attend Saturday’s game.
Expanded food options will be available, and students will receive extended housing at no cost.
SDSU takes on Montana State in the semifinal matchup for the second year in a row starting at 2 p.m.
If you’re unable to attend, you can listen to the game live on FM 107.9 with pregame coverage beginning at 1 p.m.
