Giving Tuesday is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving when it is encouraged to give to various charities throughout the world.
Giving Tuesday started in 2012 when various charities began drumming up support to encourage people to give.
In 2021, “Giving Tuesday” charities raised over $2.7 billion to help numerous causes.
