COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA (KELO.com) — A Council Bluffs, Iowa, man has been sentenced for sex trafficking two teenagers between Iowa and Nebraska. Jesse Cody was sentenced to 16 years on Tuesday. An 18-year-old victim, who was in foster care, testified Cody forced her to have sex with men for his financial gain. The second victim, a 19-year-old college student at the time, was induced by being told of the money and lifestyle she would have. Cody took most of the money for himself.
After his release from prison, Cody will have to register as a sex offender.
