SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A Sioux Falls man is in jail, charged with five counts of aggravated assault in a road rage incident.
The suspect waved a gun at a family of five Saturday night near 32nd and Sertoma.
Police charged Anthony Jeffrey Fee, 27, in the incident.
Officer Sam Clemens has some advice if you’re faced with an angry driver:
- Don’t aggravate things. Just let things go. Get the license number. Call the police. Take a breath.
Clemens says “there are a lot of people with guns” now. He says that sometimes people make bad choices and have guns, “and that causes problems.”
Clemens adds that sometimes people who are armed feel emboldened. Some think the other party is armed.
“More people are doing things with guns,” Clemens said. “People need to be responsible. Don’t make poor decisions. It could end badly for someone.”
Clemens notes that most people with guns in the community act responsibly, and a few bad actors are causing problems.
