CANTON, S.D. (KELO.com) — The City of Canton has announced details for the city wide clean up.
The City says the clean up will take place on Monday June 13, 2022. They ask you have all items on the curb by 7:00 AM.
They will only be making one trip through town, items placed out after they have gone through the area will not be picked up.
Items they will accept at the curb are non compressor appliances, washers, dryers, stoves, dishwashers, fixtures, furniture, household junk, auto parts, toys, lawn ornaments, lawn mowers and small machines however the gas and oil must be drained prior to collection.
Items not accepted at the curb are concrete, household garbage, clothing, hazardous waste, cardboard and recyclables, tires, construction debris, dehumidifiers, freezers, trees, electronics, mattresses and box springs.
