SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) –As storms exit the region tonight, emergency management crews continue to assess the damage across Sioux Falls and the surrounding areas.
With that, the Sioux Falls Police Department says that curious drivers are impeding their ability to safely and quickly do their job.
They’re asking that anyone who does not need to be out driving to stay home until further notice as crews clean downed trees and power lines.
Emergency crews are trying to assess storm damage which involves downed power lines and downed tree limbs all over the city. Extra traffic is making things difficult and causing more problems. If you are able, please stay home and do not drive around simply to view damage. /713
