SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls has placed a prisoner on escape status.
Inmate Noah Schuler left the Sioux Falls Community Work Center on May 3 without authorization.
Schuler is a white male, 22 years old, he is 5 feet 11 inches and weighs approximately 165 pounds.
He is serving sentences from Codington County for unauthorized ingestion of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance in jail.
Leaving a community work center without authorization constitutes second-degree escape, a class 5 felony punishable by up to five years in prison.
