SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — If you’ve been outside Thursday, you know it’s extremely windy.
Just south of Sioux Falls near 85th Street and Cliff Avenue, KELO.com News witnessed blowing dirt and dust that looked like something out of the Dirty Thirties.
In the countryside between Harrisburg and Sioux Falls, your vehicle would shake from the wind buffeting it at stop signs.
The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning from Sioux Falls to the north.
It’s issued a Red Flag Alert from Sioux Falls to the south.
WeatherBug.com has also issued an air quality alert for the Sioux Falls area because of the blowing dust and dirt, rating the air quality as “poor.”
