NEW ULM, MN (KELO.com) — A New Ulm, Minnesota, police officer was charged Wednesday with felony 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim under the age of 13. Southern Minnesota News reports Eric Gramentz has also been charged with felony-2nd degree criminal sexual conduct involving a victim with whom he had a significant relationship. Gramentz agreed to turn himself in after being confronted by an adult over the alleged abuse. The victim had told that adult Gramentz had touched her inappropriately several years ago when she was 11 or 12 years old.
