SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Red flag warnings have been expanded across the state this afternoon and early evening. The Sioux Falls National Weather Service says southeast South Dakota and northeast Nebraska have now been included. Low humidity and strong wind are again creating conditions that would cause a fire to spread quickly.
Meanwhile, the weather service says uncertainty remains on the strong spring system expected to impact the area between Tuesday and Thursday. While it’s still early to predict timing and precipitation amounts, they advise keeping up with the latest information.
