SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Sioux Falls School Board election set for April has been canceled. Incumbents Carly Reiter and Nan Baker were running for reelection and no challengers stepped forward to replace them.
The school board officially canceled the election at its meeting Monday evening. It’s the first time since 2008 that the district will not have an election.
Baker and Reiter will begin fresh three-year terms on the board in July.
