SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The South Dakota State University Men’s Basketball team are your Summit League Tournament champions.
The Jackrabbits faced off Tuesday night against North Dakota State University for a chance to play in the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament.
After starting off hot, South Dakota State struggled to find a rhythm early in the second half, allowing the Bison to temporarily take the lead.
The Jackrabbits were eventually able to reclaim their lead, holding onto it through the end of the game, defeating the Bison with a final score of 75 to 69.
The SDSU Men’s Basketball team heads into the “Big Dance” on a 21-game win streak (the longest in Summit League history) as they finish the season with a 30-4 record.
