SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A Nebraska State Trooper, assisting a motorist, was among the weather-related incidents troopers handled in the state on Saturday. The trooper, parked with emergency lights on, was responding to a vehicle that slid off Interstate 80 into the median. Another vehicle lost control and struck the patrol unit from behind. The trooper was in the his vehicle at the time of the crash. He was able to get out and assist both drivers. The trooper received minor injuries. Everyone was medically cleared on scene.
