SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — South Dakota State women’s basketball will be the No. 1 seed at the Summit League tournament, which begins this coming Saturday in Sioux Falls.
The Jackrabbits shared the Summit League regular-season title with South Dakota, who beat Western Illinois Monday night to match SDSU’s 17-1 conference record. South Dakota State received the higher seed because they had a slightly higher NET ranking, the final tiebreaker for Summit League tournament seeding.

The Jackrabbits will face Denver in the quarterfinals Saturday at 12:30 p.m.; the Coyotes have a rematch against Western Illinois in their quarterfinal game at 3 p.m. Semifinals will take place at 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Monday afternoon with the championship game set for Tuesday at 1 p.m.
