I-29 closed from Watertown to North Dakota Border

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) – The South Dakota Department of Transportation has closed Interstate 29 from Watertown to the North Dakota border this evening due to snow and high winds,

The SDDOT says the combination of snow and strong winds will make I-29 impassable during the evening and overnight hours. They also anticipate secondary highways becoming impassable throughout the evening and overnight.

The SDDOT has issued a No Travel Advisory for the majority of NE South Dakota due to blizzard-like conditions.
