SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — An attempted traffic stop by Sioux Falls Police Monday afternoon ended in a traffic accident.
Around 1:30 pm, police say officers tried to make a traffic stop and the vehicle did not stop.
The officers did not pursue.
A short time later, officers saw the car at 12th St and Cliff Ave.
The vehicle drove away recklessly and hit several vehicles on Cliff Ave.
Officers again did not pursue.
The vehicle struck a sign and tree at 14th Street and Cliff Ave. and the vehicle became disabled.
The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
