BURNSVILLE, MN (KELO.com) — A 20-year-old Mankato, Minnesota man is dead after running from a wrong-way crash on Interstate 35W in Burnsville early Saturday morning. The Minnesota State Patrol reports the man, whose name has not yet been released, was driving south in the northbound lanes on the interstate at Crystal Lake Road. His vehicle rolled following a head-on crash and landed on it’s roof. The driver then fled running into the southbound lanes of traffic.
He was struck by three vehicles, including a semi, and pronounced dead at the scene.
