SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police reported a number of different crimes at Wednesday’s briefing.
ARMED ROBBERY AT A SHOP AND CART
Authorities are investigating an armed robbery early Wednesday morning.
Police say a man pulled out a gun and demanded money and cigarettes from the clerk.
The clerk complied.
Police say the victim said the robber appeared to be a light-skinned black man, about 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, and wearing a mask and a hat.
The clerk was unhurt.
The incident took place at the Shop and Cart on North Minnesota Ave.
A RASH OF BUSTED CAR WINDOWS
Sioux Falls Police are investigating a rash of broken vehicle windows across pockets of the city.
Police say mostly front windshields are smashed, but also some back windows and side mirrors.
Incidents have occurred over the past several days in east, west, and central Sioux Falls.
Unlike previous vandalism like this, the police don’t see a pattern to the damage.
GAME CONSOLE “SALE” LEADS TO ROBBERY
Another online transaction, another ripoff.
Sioux Falls Police are investigating a theft that occurred Tuesday night in the 400 block of North Valley View Road.
A man was selling a gaming console, or so he thought.
Two men approached him and took the device.
The victim was not harmed.
MORE FUNNY MONEY
Someone successfully passed another fake bill.
This one was a $50 bill at a Sioux Falls business.
Police are investigating.
