SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A winter storm watch has been expanded to include most of the KELO radio listening area.
According to the National Weather Service, light snow will begin falling Thursday evening and will increase in intensity throughout the day on Friday.
Heavier snow combined with 25 to 35 m.p.h. winds will create travel hazards during this storm.
While exact snowfall totals remain uncertain, the National Weather Service says Sioux Falls and the surrounding area may receive 6 or more inches.
