While most violent crime is down in Sioux Falls, it seemed at least once a week–and sometimes more–Sioux Falls Police were called out to investigate an incident of shots fired.
Fortunately, most of these incidents did not lead to injuries or deaths.
However, they broke the peace and security of a number of neighborhoods in Sioux Falls, particularly in the central and eastern parts of the city.
Often there was property damage, such as vehicles or buildings that were hit.
