BEAVER CREEK, MN (KELO.com) — Alcohol was a factor in a one-vehicle crash in southwest Minnesota that injured a South Dakota woman. The Minnesota State Patrol says the accident happened Friday afternoon (Dec. 24) on Interstate 90, at milepost 3, near Beaver Creek Township. According to the crash report, 35-year-old Blair Shalayne Turpeinen of Brandon, South Dakota, was traveling eastbound on I-90 when her Ford F-150 left the roadway and hit a guardrail.
Turpeinen was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at the Luverne Medical Center.
