SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) –Police are investigating a shooting that happened Friday morning.
Authorities say a man has a gunshot wound to the stomach.
The incident took place between 13th and 14th Streets and Western Avenue.
About 9 a.m. Friday, there were five police cars on the scene.
Police taped off an area between two homes.
Officer Sam Clemens says, “A call was received around 7:45 am to the area of 13th St and Western Ave. A man was found with a gunshot wound to his abdomen and was taken to the hospital. We are still working to find out what happened. No arrests have been made.”
We hope to learn more when the Sioux Falls Police hold their daily briefing at 10:30 a.m. Friday.
