SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The coronavirus tracking organization COVIDActNow.com raises the virus’s spread in Minnehaha County and in Minnesota to “Severe.”
That is their highest warning level.
Minnesota also has reported the presence of the Omicron variant.
Both Minnehaha County and Minnesota have daily cases of around 80 infections per 100,000 population.
Both have infection rates that indicate increasing spread among individuals.
South Dakota’s threat level remains at the second-highest level, “Very High.”
