SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) – Milbank native, Kalen DeBoer has been selected to helm the University of Washington’s football program. DeBoer, whose coaching record as Head Coach is 79-9, says his journey to this coveted position is thanks to all the people around him that have helped and supported him, including mentors, fellow coaches, and the athletes he has coached.
DeBoer is clear about his goal for this top NCAA football program. He says, “Winning a National Championship is exactly my goal there.”
And DeBoer is no stranger to when it comes to winning championships. DeBoer was the Wide Receiver on the University of Sioux Falls’ first National Championship team and also served as the Cougar’s head coach, leading the team to 3 NAIA National Championships.
