SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Fire Rescue is investigating an early morning apartment fire Tuesday.
The fire was at an apartment in the 3500 block of South Larch Avenue.
When firefighters arrived, they spotted smoke on the second floor.
They then discovered a fire in a second floor apartment.
The residents escaped the apartment and the building.
There were no injuries and one family was displaced from the fire.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota: At 12:50 AM Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire on the 3500 block of South Larch Avenue.
The first arriving unit discovered an apartment building with smoke on the second floor. A fire was present in a second floor apartment, and the residents of that apartment had exited the structure. Other residents had also exited the structure. The fire was quickly extinguished and the structure was cleared of smoke. There were no injuries related to the fire, and one family was displaced as a result.
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded with 5 fire trucks, 2 support vehicles, and 22 personnel. Sioux Falls Fire Rescue would like to thank agencies assisting with the incident including: Metro Communications, Patient Care EMS, the Sioux Falls Police Department, and Mid-American Energy.
