SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Locally owned businesses are kicking off the holiday shopping season this Saturday.
It’s Small Business Saturday.
The event, held every Saturday after Thanksgiving, is a national campaign encouraging shopping and supporting local businesses during the holidays.
The Small Business Administration says this is a great opportunity to show appreciation to local small businesses that continue to recover from the pandemic.
South Dakota’s 90,000 small businesses employ over 210,000 South Dakotans.
