MITCHELL, S.D. (KELO.com) — Look for Workforce housing as one of the 2022 S.D. legislative session’s top issues.
That’s according to David Owen, president of the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He’s a long-time lobbyist and observer of the state legislature.
He also says early childhood education and daycare along with completing work on medical marijuana will be big issues in Pierre.
Owen expects to see a push for legalizing recreational marijuana.
He believes COVID-19 will have less of an impact on the 2022 session than it did this year.
