BROOKINGS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The goal to update South Dakota State’s Frost Arena got a major boost Friday with a $10 million gift from an anonymous donor.
That comes less than two months after First Bank & Trust announced its $20 million lead gift for naming rights.
The overall cost is estimated at $50 million.
SDSU hopes to seek approval from the South Dakota Board of Regents in early December but needs to meet its fundraising target in the next three weeks.
The gift is a strategic investment in Bold & Blue: The Campaign for South Dakota State University.
