SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Ole E. Fauske House in Corson, South Dakota was added to the National Register of Historic Place. The South Dakota State Historical Society says it was added to the register on October 29th.
Ole E. Fauske was an early settler and Minnehaha County businessman. He arrived in Dakota Territory with his family in 1873. As a member of the community, Fauske held numerous important roles including store merchant, postmaster, and clerk for the Brandon Township Board.
The Fauske house, built in 1902, was listed as an excellent example of a Folk Victorian style home.
